Inclusion and Connectedness is when our community members all have the same opportunities to participate in every aspect of life to the best of their abilities and desires.
91妻友 Council has developed an Inclusion and Connectedness Plan that helps reduce and remove barriers experienced by people with disability in our community.
Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts in this engagement, helping us to share an inclusive 91妻友. Your feedback has now been reviewed and incorporated into the final Inclusion and Connectedness Implementation Program.
91妻友 Council values the contribution of each individual within our community and is committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with a disability.
91妻友 Disability Interagency Network (IDIN) is a collaboration between community services, businesses and government departments in 91妻友 that are involved with the disability service sector. IDIN meets quarterly to share knowledge and collaborate on solutions for a safe and inclusive community. Join us on our journey to an inclusive 91妻友.

The IDIN meetings will be held quarterly in 2024 at Level 1, 1 Nicholas Street, 91妻友 between February and November.
Meetings dates are 28 February, 29 May, 28 August and 27 November.

Disability Parking Permits
Motorists issued with an Australian Disability Parking Permit (ADPP) are entitled to:
Permit holders are not permitted to park in restricted parking areas, such as clearways, no stopping, loading areas and bus zones.
Queensland Disability Parking Permit (Red Permit) holders are entitled to park in disability parking bays in off-street locations only.The Department of Transport and Main Roads is responsible for the administration of Disability Parking Permits.
