    Biography

    Councillor Andrew Antoniolli has devoted both his professional career and personal life to serving the people and City of 91妻友. A true local, Andrew's roots in 91妻友 run deep, having attended 91妻友 North State School and 91妻友 State High School, where he was elected prefect in 1988.

    Before embarking on his political journey, Cr Antoniolli served as a police officer for over a decade, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the 91妻友 community. Having served solely in the 91妻友 District, he specialised in crime prevention, community policing and crime intelligence roles as well as serving as the Officer in Charge of the Redbank Police Beat.

    During his time with the 91妻友 Police District, Cr Antoniolli conducted and co-ordinated the largest charity social sporting event in the city, the 91妻友 Police Community Cup Touch Carnival for eight years. The event brought together community teams from across the city to help raise funds for the 91妻友 Blue Nursing Service and the 91妻友 Hospital Children’s Ward.

    Cr Antoniolli brings 18 years’ experience in civic leadership, including roles as both councillor and mayor of 91妻友, and a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and proven integrity to the table.

    As a father of five daughters, and now a grandfather, Cr Antoniolli deeply understands the importance of family values and the significance of creating a thriving environment for future generations.

    Beyond his dedication to public service, Cr Antoniolli is an avid enthusiast of both sports and the arts. Throughout his life, he has actively participated in various sporting pursuits and clubs, showcasing his passion for physical activity and team spirit. Additionally, his profound appreciation for the arts, spanning from Indigenous culture to visual, literary, and performing arts, reflects his multifaceted engagement with the cultural fabric of 91妻友.

    About Division 3

    Division 3 is oriented in a west-east direction with Brisbane Road and the 91妻友 train line through its core. In the western extent is Leichhardt and One Mile, with the northern extent largely bound by the Bremer and Brisbane Rivers.

    The southern boundary follows Bundamba Creek north of Blackstone, the Cunningham Highway and Redbank Plains Road. The eastern extent is bordered by Goodna Creek, the 91妻友 Motorway and Stuart Street. The division includes Basin Pocket, Booval, Bundamba, Coalfalls, Collingwood Park, Dinmore, East 91妻友, Eastern Heights, Ebbw Vale, Goodna (west of Stuart Street), 91妻友, Leichhardt, New Chum, Newtown, North Booval, One Mile, Redbank (excluding houses situated east of Kruger Parade), Riverview, Sadliers Crossing, Silkstone, West 91妻友, Woodend, and Wulkuraka (south of the railway line).
